Paula Batiste
Food Service Manager

Paula Batiste has been with Lake Sherwood Village since 2000 when she was hired as Assistant to the Food Service Manager. In 2002, she was promoted to Manager and has been a valuable asset to Lake Sherwood, as we are noted for our delicious and wonderfully prepared meals and outstanding party food.

Born in Gonzales and raised in Woodville, MS, Paula attended all three McKinley Schools in Baton Rouge and attended commercial college after high school graduation. She has one daughter and two granddaughters.

Paula grew up in Gino's Italian Restaurant where her mother worked and then was with the East Baton Rouge School System for nine years before joining the staff at Lake Sherwood Village. She is continually improving her cooking and management skills attending classes and seminars whenever possible. Paula is a dedicated employee who takes pride satisfying the tastes of our residents.
